The AI training the law asks for, prepared for your company

If anyone in your company uses ChatGPT, Copilot or another AI at work, the EU AI Act asks you to take measures to train your staff. AIM DECK prepares the complete course for free, tailored to your tools and to each role.

What exactly does the law require?

Since 2 February 2025, Article 4 of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 has required companies that use AI systems to take AI literacy measures for their staff and for anyone using those systems on their behalf. Regulation (EU) 2026/1744, the Digital Omnibus, in force since 27 July 2026, refined the wording: companies must take measures that support that literacy, rather than guarantee a specific level. The obligation still stands and is supervised by national authorities; in Spain, by the Spanish AI Supervision Agency (AESIA).

Who does it apply to?

Any company that uses AI in its work, whatever its size: including a small business whose team drafts emails or summarises documents with an assistant. It applies to people who use AI and to those who oversee its use.

What should you keep on record?

The law sets no minimum number of hours and requires no official qualification. The prudent approach is to be able to show which measures were taken: the syllabus, who completed the training and with what result, and how often it is reviewed. Training should match what each person does with AI and the risk of that use.

What does the free course include?

A complete course about your tools and roles: the presentation to deliver it, the learner handbook, the trainer guide, an assessment with answer key and the SCORM package for your learning platform. All editable, in six languages. And, to keep a record, a link for your staff to take the course with no platform, a record of who completes it and with what score, and a downloadable file of the measures taken.

What the course covers

  • What AI is and where it gets things wrong
  • The tools you use: what for, and what not for
  • Data that must never be entered
  • Risks: errors, bias, privacy and intellectual property
  • What the AI Act says: prohibited practices and transparency
  • Practical cases by role and a final assessment
  • Slide about how to respond when a customer has a problem, in two columns. Presentation

Can it be funded?

In Spain it may qualify for FUNDAE funding as company-organised training, if it meets the requirements. Elsewhere, check your country's training support schemes.

What we don't do

We don't give legal advice or issue official qualifications, and no course can ensure the outcome of an inspection. We give you the material to train your team and keep a record of what you did.
