Accessibility report

Partially conformant with EN 301 549 V4.1.1 and WCAG 2.2 level AA. The public website and the courses AIM generates are checked automatically in every release. What fails or has not yet been checked is under «Known limitations».

Scope

The public AIM website (www.aim-deck.ai) and what it delivers: PowerPoint presentation, learner handbook, trainer's guide and assessment in Word, and SCORM 1.2 packages, both from the complete course and from the free converter.

Standard: EN 301 549 V4.1.1, published by ETSI in September 2026, which adopts WCAG 2.2 for web, software and documents. Until the European Commission cites it in the Official Journal, the legal reference remains V3.2.1 (2021); V4.1.1 contains it and adds the WCAG 2.2 criteria.

Method

Web: axe-core 4.10 with the WCAG 2.0, 2.1 and 2.2 level A and AA rules, on desktop (1440 px) and mobile (375 px), on 15 public pages. It is repeated against production in every plan review.

Documents: every PowerPoint AIM produces is checked when generated, on the file itself: a title on every slide, a declared language, described images, a document title and no text overflowing its box. Anyone can check any PowerPoint on the «Verify» page.

SCORM: full keyboard navigation, focus moved to each page's title, progress announced to screen readers, declared language and data tables as an alternative to charts.

It does not yet include testing with screen reader users or a complete manual audit criterion by criterion.

Results

Web: no serious or critical axe-core violations on the 15 audited pages, on desktop and mobile.

Documents: in the quality bench that runs every night, all test presentations meet those requirements, and each PowerPoint's report states, file by file and with its fingerprint, whether it meets them. Word documents are generated with heading styles and a declared language, without their own automated audit yet.

Known limitations

  • The free PowerPoint or PDF to SCORM converter shows each slide as an image. Its text is placed underneath as real text, but the image is still an image of text: it does not adapt when zoomed a lot or when colours are changed (WCAG 1.4.5, 1.4.10).
  • Videos are the slides, without sound. Their text equivalent is the presentation itself or the handbook, but it is not delivered with the video (WCAG 1.2.1).
  • Descriptions of AI-generated images are written automatically and should be reviewed.
  • Automated checks detect only part of the possible problems; without testing with people, full conformance cannot be declared.
